Role and responsibilities

  1. The person/s responsible for Grant applications should become familiar with funding providers, and availability of such.
  2. Fundview may be accessed to obtain much of this information. (Use Library Card number and birthdate as password. Fundview listed under ‘Databases’ on the City Council website)
  3. Applications are to be of a high standard with correct spelling and grammar. (Having applications proof read by someone else is acceptable).
  4. The application person/s should liaise with the camp Director to obtain relevant information, and to ensure confidentiality of campers.
  5. The Grants application person is responsible to the Local Committee.
  6. If more than one person performs this task, these persons must coordinate applications with each other to ensure no duplication of applications.
  7. The person applying to a funding provider is also responsible to complete an accountability report for each application, or to ensure that this is completed by another qualified person eg Treasurer.
  8. A record of all applications made must be kept and available to the Local Committee at all meetings. This may be held by the Secretary and updated by Grants applications personnel, or may be held by such personnel.
