Mission Statement

Camps that provide a safe week of happy memories, building self worth and confidence, learning life skills, and creating hope for the future, for children who have experienced abuse.

Role and responsibilities

  1. Board Members are responsible to the Board and its Chairperson. They are also responsible to the wider community of KCNZ at all Annual General Meetings.
  2. To establish future directions, monitoring the organisations performance against its Mission Statement, goals, agreed plans and budgets and liaising with various people of the region.
  3. Evaluate and approve the Annual Plan and Budget as submitted by the KCNZ Treasurer.
  4. Ensure all aspects of KCNZ work are conducted in a proper, ethical and legal manner.
  5. Accept the Mission Statement and organisational goals and be bound by the decisions of the Board.
  6. Attend meetings regularly and prepare for meetings by reading minutes and reports.

Method of Appintment: The Board shall be elected and appointed by the Annual General Meeting

Length of Appointment: This appointment should be elected each year.
